Photograph archivist vs. photograph curator

"curator" may work better for a museum. "archivist" would be appropriate for
a historic society. The distinction may be a minor semantic nuance, but
curator implies building a collection using aesthetics as a primary
criteria. Archivist implies document storage & preservation, access &
retrieval.
