I would agree with Catherine about the use of PastPerfect. The Dorothy
Carpenter Archives obtained PastPerfect here in June 1999 and I have
used it since April 2000. There is a website for PastPerfect -
http://www.museumsoftware.com
While PastPerfect is much better than what was here before, I dislike
the "research" part. I still find myself going to the "paper" records to
find where an item/collection is located. Other than that, it's OK. I do
think it is better for museum items though.
