Deportation of Jews from Nice and Vichy during WWII

Request for Research Assistance:

I am doing some research about French Jews in the cities of Nice (under
Italian occupation) and Vichy during WWII to determine the German policies of
Jewish individuals in this area of France, especially the Southern zone.

I am in search of possible archives which would contain information about the
Nice consulate, deportations, visas, etc. specifically in these two cities.

I have obviously searched the U.S. National Archives website, but found very
little.

Could someone point me in the right direction and/or share pointers on
mastering the NARA website?

Please respond off the listserv.

Thank you,

Maria Plonski
