Aonther option you may want to consider is to store the files on multiple
server's if you have the availability.  CD's and DVD's are not necessarily
all they are cracked up to be.  The longetivity of these media are not what
the manufacturers claim.  Additionally, the quality of the CD's and DVD's
even with in the same manufacturing batch can have varying quality.  I'm not
saying don't use them, but I am saying  don't make it your only digital
storage media.  The is a project at Stanford LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keeps
Stuff Safe) that advocates multiple copies in various media.  You can check
