Re: Container sizes

We select container size based on the records, and our finding
aids tell us the containers, sizes, and piece count. In some cases,
decision on the containers is also based on handling of the records.
For example, for important but seldom-used records, I may choose
cubic foot boxes knowing that these will be heavy and difficult for
staff to handle. For heavily used materials, I may go with smaller
boxes (it will take more of them) but they will be easier for staff
and patrons to use.
