Nicholson Baker

There is a review of _Double Fold_ in the April 1 (coincidence?) 2001
issue of _Library Journal_. It is one of three books highlighted on
the table of contents of the book review section ("Put a little
controversy in your library"). "Pulling no punches, novelist Baker
(_Vox_) is a romantic, passionate troublemaker who questions the smug
assumptions of library professionals and weeps at the potential loss
of an extensive, pristine run of Joseph Pulitzer's New York _World_.
... This extremely well-written book is not a paranoid rant. ...
Highly recommended for all libraries." (reviewed by Barry Chad,
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh).
