Access

We have been using access for our library catalog for somewhat about two
years. I frequently receive the same error message that Gwendolyn Green
does, and no one else is using the database. Even a simple search for a
call number frequently produces the response. If I hit "ok," I get the
record I want. When we tried to set up a new query last Thursday, the
error message kept appearing, and it would not run the query. The IT
specialist worked on the problem for hours and could not come to any
resolution. He said that he had never seen the message before.

Our system was set up by a library intern who didn't really understand the
program and made it more complicated than was necessary. My co-intern has
simplified the catalog and queries, but it is not a system that I would
choose to use.

Is anyone else having similar problems?
