Deadline Approaching - 3 Archivist I positions in Alabama

The Alabama Department of Archives and History seeks enthusiastic applicants for three entry-level archivist positions.  (Salary Range: $ 22,198 - $33,742).  Besides providing general archival and records management assistance to state officials, the successful applicants will conduct original analysis of the functions that agencies perform, appraise records, develop records disposition guidelines and technical publications, transfer historical records to ADAH, conduct records management workshops, and monitor state agencies for compliance with records requirements and laws.  The job includes extensive field work and coordination with the State Records Commission and other agencies allied with ADAH in overseeing state records management.
