Re: Inside those document cases
Several archival suppliers offer acid-free board inserts that fold
to form sort of a square "[" to brace against the items. My
personal preference is wadded acid-free paper. We keep a
box of these and reuse/remove/reapply as necessary.
We also have a bunch of small boxes to hold 8 x 10 glass
plate negatives. We got overstocked here by mistake, but
darn if they don't fit easily into these boxes without adding
a great deal of weight and hold the items upright.
