One possible solution is to use two high quality single tape copiers that
can be connected; the output from one becomes the input of the second
machine. I've done this for home copying, and it works pretty well. I'm
assuming that the dual-deck unit you mention is made by Go-Video. I know
nothing about their reputation, but I, too, was a little concerned about the
unit. That's why I opted for the two machine solution.
