Friday Fun--God and the Johnstown Flood

I enjoyed picking this anecdote up from the Journalism history list; btw, the
flood was 1889, not 1899. I attached the fanswering response under the query
for the curious at heart.

Enjoy!

Can anyone help me locate the anecdote about the junior reporter
wiring his story to his editor on the 1899 Johnstown, Pennsylvania,
Flood with the lead about God watching the desolation from a nearby
mountaintop, and to which the editor wires back, "FORGET FLOOD (STOP)
INTERVIEW GOD"?

Thanks.
