"rush the can"

Thanks to Mark Stauter, Professor Cohen, and Mary Beth Stephenson for
explicating "rush the can." The occasion for this expression is not completely
past. In the U.S., many brewpubs sell draft beer to go in growlers in the form
of a 64 ounce glass jug customized with the brewer's logo. The growler may be
refilled for three to five dollars less than the cost of its initial purchase,
full of beer.
