Re: Topps company apparently selling its archives



I wouldn't say they're exactly selling their archives, at least not based on
the press release.  They're selling selected items piece by piece, as a way
of making some money, drawing attention and interest, and cementing their
reputation as a(n?) historical institution.  If they released piles of stuff
at once, I imagine they'd flood the market & drop prices.

One would hope they have other copies of most of this, and are only trying
to cash in on the ebay craze with duplicates of other things they hold.

Does Topps have an official "Archives" as we would understnad it?
