Re: Post-it Notes in collections



99.9% of the time, I find that post-its fall under the appraisal category of
"routine transmittals" and so they get pitched. The remaining .1% that DO
contain significant context or additonal information, I would photocopy as
described below.

I've used the same procedure you describe - photocopy
the page with Post-It note intact, then discard the
note leaving the original page in place.  I just hope
any residual adhesive from these all-too-common
stick'ums don't cause problems later.

Has anyone already seen negative effects from such
residual adhesive?
