Re: preserving spiral notebooks



Another way to remove the wire, should it be looped continuously through the
notebook's edge (and this takes a steady hand) would be to get wire cutters
(they can be purchased in a fairly small size), and snip at select points
along the wire (while the notebook is closed, and furthest from the pages).
Then pull the wire through, as Ellen Chapman suggested. In this way, you
will be pulling a shorter piece of wire through the holes, which limits the
wear and tear on the item.

Although, the subsequent art works may be different... (!).
