Animal rights protesters opposed to the work of Huntingdon Life Sciences
will today step up their campaign against City institutions by publishing
doc-uments that they claim to have obtained by infiltrating the Bank of New
York.
The potential security breach could force the Bank of New York, the world's
biggest custodian of assets, to change more than 300 internal codes relating
to client accounts.

Huntingdon Life Sciences has received the go-ahead from the City regulator
to set up a rarely used shareholding structure to protect investors from
animal rights campaigners.
The Financial Services Authority is understood to have cleared Huntingdon's
proposal for a "corporate nominee service".
