Photo mounting question...

Hi all!

1 week and counting til this exhibit is up & I can go back to lurking in
contentment!

In the meantime, I have these photos (they are not collection & nothing
anyone cares too much about) and need to get them stuck to mat board so we
can put velcro on the mat board so we can stick them on the panel. I have
been using photo corners from Light Impressions, but now I've gotten to the
tough stuff that won't stay put with photo corners. (I've decided it just
doesn't look professional to have un-stuck photo corners hanging from curved
cabinet cards!) :)

Have any of you tried to create your own mounting stuff (like I'm doing) and
put up a daguerreotype (only the part of the case with the image - the other
half is gone), slightly curved cabinet cards, much more curved photo album
pages (like the board in a cabinet card) 6x6"?

I have to get them on this mat board somehow. I'm thinking of just taking
strips of mylar, putting them across the corners like photo corners, only
using double-sided tape to adhere them to the back of the mat board.

I guess I'm hoping someone out there has been in a pinch like this and may
have a grand solution to offer. If not, maybe I gave an idea to someone else
of how to put this stuff up! :)

Thanks for your help with this (hopefully) last question of mine!
Have a nice holiday!
