Re: Return to Watergate- Non-Archival Trivia Question



Gee, maybe I even saw him. I flew commercially (a red-eye most likely) from
the west coast some years ago, into Dulles, after the worst of the Watergate
scandal. I had paid no attention whatsoever to other passengers. I go to the
luggage carousel at Dulles and who is there but John Dean....there is an
entourage of people about him. I mention that that's John Dean to somebody
next to me, and that person said that Dean had been on this flight (obvious
from the fact that he is hanging about the luggage carousel, a great social
equilizer). He was impeccably dressed, as if he had just stepped out of
"GQ".  But clothes a man do not make.
