Data Loggers

Dear Colleagues:

I have been reviewing the literature of three companies that produce data
loggers (Dickson, Onset/HOBO, and ACR). I am primarily interested in those
units that monitor internal temperature and humidity.

I would appreciate any information you may provide regarding your
institutions use of these monitors. I am particularly interested in ease
of use, accuracy, and cost of maintenance (batteries, re-callibration, and
software upgrades).

I am also interested in your opinions on chart recorders vs. data loggers.
Does your instituion prefer chart recorders over data loggers or have you
found a combination of the two better suited for your collections.

You may reply directly to my e-mail address. No reason to clog the
listserve with your replies.

Thank you for your assistance.
