Historical Records Grant Program

Secretary of State Cathy Cox is pleased to announce the Georgia Historical
Records Advisory Board's (GHRAB) Historical Records Grant Program for 2002.
The grant program is designed to promote preservation of and access to
historical documents and advance the use of technology in Georgia's
repositories and local government offices. The basic components of the
program are:

Eligible Organizations: Organizations that care for historical records and
provide public access to those records on a regularly scheduled basis. This
may include local government offices, historical societies, libraries,
museums, and similar organizations.

14, 2002 (2nd cycle). GHRAB will review preliminary drafts if submitted
prior to December 15, 2001 (1st cycle) or July 1, 2002 (2nd cycle).
