I have also heard of the boric acid trick, but was told that it's very bad
for people to inhale, so be careful how you use it.  Best off checking with
a reliable pest guy/gal.

Oh, Jill, you are _clearly_ not from New York. :)

Combat is the little roach traps, plasticky discs that are supposed to kill
roaches; I've never found 'em that effective, but it ain't a New York
apartment without a few Combats stuck in various crannies.
