Re: The thorny job application process



Not only should you never hesitate to follow up on a job application, you
should even go so far as to say in your cover letter that you will in fact
be following up after a certain period of time. This will make them more
likely to contact you directly, and it also shows just how interested in and
serious about the job you are. Finally, it has been my experience that most
places won't acknowledge receipt of an application/resume, let alone tell
you if you were rejected. The only way you'll find out anything is to
contact them.
