RAIN-induced gripe

Arrrrggggghhh!!!!

If I read one more dopey news article describing archives as dusty, murky
places I'm gonna have to hit somebody, preferably one of the idiot reporters
responsible. My archives is neat, clean, and well lit, all of that despite
the construction guys that have been wandering around all week.

Might I suggest that if anyone has the dubious honor of being interviewed by
one of these nimrods, be sure to stress the lack of dust that we all shoot
for? The article on the Heinz papers set me off; bad enough that they're
all acting like we can drop everything and digitize, but then they have to
act like we're all in dungeons, walking with gnarled walking sticks &
croaking "Yessss, Master"? Ruined a perfectly helpful story about the work
they're doing at CMU.

Grrrr.
