Charges have been dropped against a former Iowa State University graduate student accused of eavesdropping on a friend's e-mail account and impersonating him to turn down a $200,000-a-year job offer.

Lee Leslie was a Coca-Cola collector long before he lived in Atlanta.
So will he admit to moving here merely to be closer to Coke? No, but it certainly crossed his mind.
"It didn't hurt that Coca-Cola was down here," he said.
Leslie is part of the legion of Coke collectors around the world. Thanks to the Internet, more and more people are involved in swapping Coke goods. The auction site eBay, for instance, recently listed more than 14,000 items that mentioned Coca-Cola.

Californians have new ammunition in their fight against spam, thanks to a court decision this week that could make it easier to drop off from unwanted e-mail marketing lists.
A California appeals court Wednesday upheld the state's anti-spam law, ruling that it does not violate a clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Several bags of shredded documents found in a trash bin behind the Lemont Fire Protection District office have been turned over to the Cook County state's attorney's office, as have district files from 1992 to 1999, fire district officials said Thursday.
Although the state's attorney's office would not confirm or deny an investigation was ongoing, Fire Chief Andrew O'Donnell said the documents were given to that office shortly after being discovered in April.

NEW YORK -- Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has filed incorporation papers with the state creating the Rudolph W. Giuliani Center for Urban Affairs Inc., the New York Daily News has learned.
The privately funded center's first order of business will be to create a Giuliani library, using thousands of documents from his eight years as mayor.
