Re: questions for Florida archivists, historians, librarians re: coco nut



Mailing of coconuts was a popular activity in Hawai`i during the 1950s and
1960s that I know of (and likely earlier).  There were even ones for sale
for that purpose, with mailing label and Hawai`i symbols already affixed.
I rarely get to Waikiki now so don't know if there are still any
ready-to-go coconuts for sale.  I'm sure the postal service wouldn't like
'em these days.  Aloha
