Re: National Park archivist
Carolyn -
I will be pleasantly surprised if you're able to contact any National Park
Service
office via email. The Indian Trust Accounts issue has resulted in most
Dept. of
Interior (DOI) offices being cut-off from email and Internet access for
the time being. The USGS has been exempted along with the National Fire
Information Center (I think I have the name correct) because of their work
in public health and safety. However, for example, the USGS field records
office (Technical Data Unit) in Anchorage does not have email or Internet
access because they are connected directly to a DOI server.
You may have better success in contacting the National Park archivist by
postal
mail.
Sincerely yours,
Carol Edwards
