Re: Swedish newspapers

Of interest to the list serve in general may be a website,
www.embassyworld.com. I have done extensive searching where I needed
authoritative information from foreign lands. Most countries have, in the
US, a diplomatic as well as economic consul. These fine people at these
consulates are a wealth of authoritative information. If one looks for
Swedish consuls here in the US at this website, one will find 6 among LA,
NY, and Chicago. One is the Swedish information servce, in NY. The site
permits one to select whose embassy, in what country. Very user friendly,
and URL's tie one into the respective consulate.

Thanks for all those quick replies! The problem was indeed that
they had given me an extra "d" at the end of the email address,
and it's Dagens Nyheter, http://www.dn.se/

Though why they would want this photo, a grisly 1915 shot of Joe
Hill taken post-execution, so his chest is full of holes, yecch! I
hastened to assure him that that was not how we treated Swedish
citizens today!

Thanks again to everyone who replied; as always, I quote the Cat
in the Hat: "I'll bet with my [inter]net I can get those Things yet!"
