A solution to our image problems!?

Good afternoon everyone -- you may consider this a Monday funny or, Heaven
forbid, another opportunity to discuss the much-lamented stereotypical image
of the quiet, dusty archivist.

In one of the weekend issues of the Cincinnati Enquirer, a columnist wrote
about how the typical image of the accountant has benefitted from the
Enron/Anderson scandal. She suggested that the scandal turned their image
from boring, passive, "milktoast" types into good guys, bad guys,
scapegoats, criminals and a number of other colorful characterizations.

Ergo, what we evidently need is a good old-fashioned scandal to change our
image. Any thoughts? Fire away.
