Re: Preserving fried mail?
Personally, I have been making photocopies of such documents (They are aged
quite a bit by the process) that I know I will eventually send to the National
Archives. Also, it extends to other things as well. Stickers/labels that get
"nuked" are completely unusable (turns glue to cement). This is an evolving
issue that people are looking closely at.
