The Continuing Education Program

presents a one-day workshop
MANAGING E-MAIL
Reports tell us that executives receive up to 90 emails a day and
it's going to get worse. So what should be done about email? Are
emails records? Should they put it into an email folder to deal with
later or should they become part of the records system, like any other
record? Does your organization have a policy to on how to manage
email? Can you, the information manager, show staff how to deal with
email and determine where it should appropriately be placed within the
records management system?
This workshop will help you answer the questions by looking at email
management issues, emails as records, methods of "filing," and
developing email policies which address both the technology and
information management issues.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Directed towards information managers who are establishing electronic
records management programs.
