Afro-American League records

Hi all -

A colleague is looking for the records described below and has been stumped
so far. Anyone have any idea where these might be located? Any help is
greatly appreciated -- thank you!

We're interested in locating the records of the Franklin, Washington chapter
records of the Afro-American League, a national organization. The start
date for these records will certainly be post 1891, because that is the year
that the Oregon Improvement Company completed a nationwide recruitment for
African-American coal miners to relocate to this rather isolated King County
company town, previously populated entirely by Caucasians. Gideon BaIley
was the first African-American justice of the peace in King County, and was
president for a number of years of the Franklin chapter. Bailey was also
active in the Prince Hall (Black) Masons, that were very strong in Franklin.

We're researching Bailey, the local Franklin chapter of the Afro-American
League, and the Franklin Prince Hall Masons.
