Words and/or music for "Carquinez Waltz": where?

In order to assist a colleague, I am trying to find the music for the
"Carquinez Waltz", which was played in 1927 at the Grand Opening of the
first bridge across the Carquinez Strait in Crockett, California.
Reference was made to this music in a newspaper article written just after
that bridge was opened. This piece could be played at the Grand Opening of
the bridge that will replace that 1927 bridge - if we can find a copy of
the music. (We will deal with any copyright issues after we locate the
music.)

Do any of you know where this music is? We have already checked with the
Library of Congress, to no avail. (We are in the process of contacting
local historical societies.)

By the way, this new bridge is only partly done, and will not open for
several years. This will give us time to try to locate this music.

Thank you.
