Re: Professional couriers for archival items?

Gang:
The AAM website allows you to search for shippers and packing/crating
at: <http://mmo.aam-us.org/search_db.cfm>. I believe there are 22
vendors listed under shippers.

However, when I interned at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston archives, I
thought they used somebody by the obvious name of "Fine Art Shipping,"
which isn't listed at the AAM site. I found them at the Artscope
website (I don't know anything about the website):

Before hiring one, I would definitely ask for a list of current clients,
and verify some of them.

What say the museum archivists out there?

Of course, you can always carry it yourself, and get a vacation out of
the trip.
