The following items do not fit our collection policies and
are available on a first-come first-served basis.   Please
place your name and mailing address in your e-mail in such
a way that I can quickly cut it out and paste it on an
envelope!  :D

Small leather pocket memo book, calendars for 1937 and 1938; lined pages,
        blank; with population of principal cities; small color world maps;
        table of weights and measures; has sticker for "representative" of
        Ford dealership, Pensacola, Florida.

Small pocket memo book, blank graph pages, for Gulf Life Insurance Company,
        Jacksonville, FL

Official Transportation and City Map of Los Angeles Cal. and Suburbs ... 1924.
        Folded map in booklet;  back cover ad for Pacific Eletric Railway.

Greeting Card w/business card of Kitsap Dairymen's Association, Bremerton, WA

Pocket booklet, "1939 Baseball" and on back cover, Chicago Cubs games at
home and Chicago Sox games at home; includes Chicago Street Guide
sandwiched between ads for free blood test for syphilis, gonorrhea, x-ray
examination of stomach special,
prostatic trouble, medicine for discouraged and nervous men (note:
especially after reading this booklet during the ball game!), medicines for
bashfulness, ruptured folk,
and the city health clinic.   Inside the cover reads "Men, Keep this Book
... When Trouble comes you will need it badly." (!!)

Booklet, 5 x 7 (10 pp.) titled "Save the Constitution!" with story of the
U. S. S. Constitution; inside back cover is address for the "Save the
Constitution Fund"
no date.

Booklet, 4 x 4, "A Chemical Almanack" ... Second edition, extensively
revised.  Published by Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ  1934.

Brochure for the "Mt. Lowe Resort: the Alpine Tavern & Housekeeping Cottages"
published by Pacific Electric Railway.  (1924)

Brochure/timetable for the Motor Transit Co.; cover is "Long Beach to Pasadena"
published by Auto State Depot, Long Beach ... Sept. 25, 1924.

New Map of the Borough of the Bronx, New Yeork City ... folded map,  c. 1919.

Brochure for Lake Tahoe; the Scenic Daylight Way, Pierce Arrow Line; this
brochure has piece torn out, but most of text and photos intact.

Real Estate brochure for "Lemar Heights" inside Los Angeles City Limits;
shows how to get there; not every lot in Orange grove...apparently between
Van Nuys and Old San Fernando Mission.

Real Estate Brochure for East Compton Tract!  (between Long Beach and
Compton, CA)

Ticket envelope for Southern Pacific Line, 192-

Letter on letterhead of P. Donovan, Erie PA, seller of "brindle pups" with
pictures of Donovan's Pincher and Donovan's Paddy.  (these look like pit
bulls, to me).   Letter
appraising costs of pups, what's available, shipping by American railway
express.
Letter has tears but interesting.   Probably 1918-1924 period.  Collection
has some evidence that man in family was considering making money by
wagering on pit bull
fights.
