Acetate disks should be remasterd, restored and transfered by a profesional audio engineer who specializes in audio restoration. To transfer this sort of disk you need custom made equipment to get the best sound out of the disk and to not damage the disk. Old equipment and old styli will give you bad sound plus damaged grooves. From what you described it seems that it is an audition of a program for a local radio station. It might of never been aired. Just as a piece of radio history it's important.
