Re: Research Collections and ILLs



This is a very good discussion. I too have seen photocopies marked "return
to copyright holder. How about a restriction noted with the description of
the collection informing patrons that they can not make photocopies of this
copyrighted material. They can copy the references and obtain their own
photocopies from the copyright holder just like the professor did. If the
photocopies are returned or destroyed, surly a list of references would not
be amiss.

I would not be inclined to remove them, but probably would not allow
photocopying of these items due to copyright restrictions.  Depends on what
the
articles are, author's relationship to the professor and his research.
