Computer Museum



Picked off the Australian Archives List Serve.....

Hello,

Does anyone remember the idea of a computer museum to read electronic
records?  It was touted in the early 1990s (I think, maybe earlier).  The
idea was that old computer hardware would be kept running (& maintained) so
that the records could be accessed in their original format.  According to
Salon.com someone has cashed in on this idea;
