UGRR Plaques

Does anyone know of any archives that holds records of an abolitionist society
that would have given commendation plaques to Underground Railroad conductors
in the years after the Civil War?

We have a researcher whose great-great-grandfather was presented with one and
it was in the family for years, but has now been lost (which is why we don't
know the name of the organization). The individual who received the plaque was
an African American who operated a stop in Butler County in southwestern Ohio
and his role is well-documented in our collection.

If anyone knows of national, state or local anti-slavery societies that would
have records of such post-war presentations, we would like to hear from you.
And of course it is possible that some entirely different organization chose
to honor people in this way, so if anyone has ever heard of anything like
this, please respond.

Thank you very much.
