confidence in managing a software selection project by learning accepted
techniques for evaluating the technology needed to meet a variety of
information management challenges. Examine the computer software available
to manage documents and records in both paper and electronic form. Learn how
to distinguish which types of software should be considered for managing
digital images, e-mail, electronic documents, and electronic records.

requirements, contacting software vendors, and making a software procurement
