music copyright

Good morning everyone,

I'm working on an exhibit that traces John Deere's contributions during
World War II. As part of the exhibit, I'm wanting to play some period music,
some Glenn Miller or something to set the mood. Of course I can't just play
music without acknowledging the artist, etc. but I'm wondering if its legal
for me to play the music at all without paying royalties. As a company, we
pay royalties on all musac (sp?) played in any company building, but I'm not
sure how this would fall under that umbrella. While our patent people are
working on it, I thought I would try to get some feedback from others who
have already solved this issue.

Thanks as always,

Neil
