[Fwd: Costume jewelry storage question]
Good morning everyone,
I was asked to post this for someone not on the list.
I have been a lurker for some time now. I have found the listserv to have
great information. I know jewelry storage has been discussed recently. I
have looked in the archives of this list already.
If anyone can help her, please respond to her at jonandsue@ctc.net
Thanks,
Jonathan Hutchinson

Dear Mr. Hutchinson,
I am a novice jewelery collector with a serious question
I am hoping you can answer for me. My question is this: what is the BEST
way to store rhinestone and other costume jewelry in order to preserve
its collectibility and wearability? I presently store my jewelry wrapped
in tissue/Kleenex and sealed in plastic Ziplock baggies (one or two
pieces to a baggie) inside a 20 gallon plastic all purpose storage tote.
Please let me know if I am doing the right thing by my jewelry as I would
like to keep my collection of vintage and contemporary pieces looking
nice as long as I possibly can. Any and all storage ideas/tips would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time and best wishes,
Suzanne Ward
