FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MOREHEAD, Ky.---A published photographer and former instructor at
Morehead State University will return to campus in June with a special
exhibit of her photographs of Appalachia.
Ann W. Olson of Olive Hill will display ?Eastern Kentucky Eyes:

workshops.
During the Appalachian Celebration, she will teach a two-part class in
color photography. On Monday, June 23, and Thursday, June 27, she will
show participants the basic techniques of taking color photos. Both
courses run from 9-11 a.m. at the Kentucky Folk Art Center. Admission
is free but anyone interested must call the KFAC at (606) 783-2204 to

She has conducted several workshops on Appalachian Children?s Books and
Writers, produced a video on gifted students for Western Kentucky
University and received the Kentucky Arts Council?s Professional
Assistance Award in 2000.
