Recommendations for Photograph Databases

Hello,

Vanderbilt University is considering several different photograph
databases for it's collection of 200,000+ images. Can anyone
recommend a database they have found particularly useful?
Currently we are evaluating DBText and ContentDM and have plans
to evaluate Luna later this summer.

Current plans for use of the database include displaying thumbnails
and metadata summaries through a web browser interface. We are
also looking into watermarking as a means of discouraging
wholesale redistribution of the images.

I have already searched the archives for mentions of photograph
databases.

Any sharing of previous experience is certainly appreciated.
