The Fondation Napoléon in Paris is currently engaged in a
  project to
collect and publish the entire correspondence of Napoleon I.
  This project
involves the collection, in one edition, of the tens of
  thousands of
letters written or dictated by Napoleon. The Fondation Napoléon
  is
appealing to institutions and researchers for help in their
  quest to locate
letters, either in archives or private hands.

The Fondation Napoléon, a registered charity, is a place of
  research and
information concerning the First and Second Empires, and
  supports projects
which encourage a deeper understanding of the period and the
  preservation
  of Napoleonic heritage.

If you have any information regarding the location of letters,
  please
