FW: Two Questions

There were German Prisoners of War in Stark, NH. They were written about in
"Stark decency : German prisoners of war in a New England village," by Allen
V. Koop,
published by the University Press of New England (Hanover, NH) in 1988

Subject: Two Questions
1) Apparently during WWII, in Virginia, and maybe other states, 'Germans'
were put into camps, like the Japanese in some of the western states. I
suggested the patron try the VA State Archives. If anyone on the listserve
has information on these camps, please respond. I feel it is of sufficient
interest to reply to all on the listserve.
