Re: beaver board?



Barbara,
Beaver board is a thin board made of wood pulp that was used for walls and
ceilings from about 1915 on. I'd bet it's pretty acidic, although it may
do the photos more harm than good to remove them. Still, if there is a
conservator about, you might see if there's a way to liberate them.
