I think this was meant for the list; I should note that the comments
actually cited below were not mine but those of Alan Thomas; as I've
already indicated, I don't agree in the least that the church was not a
"Jewish" thing in the early days; and in fact, I think that the earliest
real missionaries were Hellenistic Jewish Christians who already spoke
Greek.
