Château de Chiffrevast

Château de Chiffrevast is located between Tamerville and Valognes in Normandy. It was used as a communications facility by the Germans. After liberation in 1944 the 3110th reconstructed it for American communications.
August 18: Detachment 1, Company C deploys to Cherbourg

In September, Detachment 1 was attached to Company A, 810th  Signal Service Battalion
