Subject: [nafex] varigated chestnut

A local landscaper just came to my home.
One of his clients has a chestnut, suckering.
One sucker is varigated
Is this common
As there are no roots here, how could we propogate this varigated sucker-- by ground layering?
Did not have time to go/see as on way to family funeral
Any yhoughts?
