Hi David -

Hum, that's a thought, your stick method. It takes longer than overnight,
however, to allow the organisms in the soil to notice and grow, and make a
visual difference.

So, maybe 2 to 3 weeks for the sticks to be in the soil. Can you try it, and
report back to the net about how it worked? We're in winter here in
Corvallis, so the incubation would be even longer for us now.
